Prof. Alex Liberzon is a head of the Turbulence Structure laboratory

Lior Shig is the Ph.D. student, working on the problem of pollutant dispersion in urban canopy flows as a part of the PAZY sponsored project in collaboration with the Technion and the Israel Institute of Biological Research Environmental Wind Tunnel team.

Dr. Ivan Litvinov is a senior researcher at a joint appointment with Prof. Slava Krylov's laboratory, co-developing the next-generation MEMS flow sensors

I am pursuing my M.Sc at the Turbulence Structures Lab, with a focus on utilizing 3D-PTV to uncover novel mechanical interactions of blood flow in the human Left Ventricle and their relation to pathologies.

Guy joined us as an undergraduate student, continuing Almog Greenberg's project of developing active hydrodynamic sensing using pressure sensors. From October 2024, he will be a graduate student in the direct program to M.Sc. Guy will work with Dr. Yossi Elimelech on the unsteady forces on hydrofoil. Leah is our research engineer on her professional co-op internship program from the University of Toronto. Leah is developing a semi-active flow control concept using vortex generators and collaborates with our team on the novel MEMS based wall shear stress sensor

Avraham Blas is our lab technician from March 2023. Avraham has vast experience in engineering and laboratory systems.

Roi Feldenkreis works on the OpenPTV v2.0, developing in Python the next generation of the open source particle tracking velocimetry system. See his profile

Itamar joined us in September 2025 to continue the work of Golan Michaeli on optical Schlieren measurements of ultrasound waves.

Sari is a B.Sc. graduate from the School of Mechanical Engineering, extending his know-how to the CFD in heat convection in corrugated channels. His project is a supported by the Ministry of Energy in collaboration with Soreq NRC
