Congratulations to Lior Shig on his first-author publication in BLM

BLM is one of the most important journals for atmospheric sciences, namely Boundary Layer Meteorology.

The work is Flow and Turbulence Statistics of a Two-Height Canopy Model in a Wind Tunnel, and you can see below one of the central results - the Reynolds stress profiles strongly depend on the position relative to the tall or short elements.

Lior Shig and our colleagues from the Israeli Institute for Biological Research, together with Dr. Ron Shnapp from our lab, published his first part of the work based on PIV analysis of a two-height canopy.

The link to the publication is here, and you can send us e-mail if you don't have an access to it. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10546-023-00787-0
